Wired Dragonfly
I have been making jewelry most of my life. In 2003 I discovered wire jewelry and fell
in love with it. I took all the  courses I could find on how to make the wire jewelry.
The artist comes out in me on each piece I do. The stones and wire speak to me as
each piece of art is handcrafted. I know you will love wearing my creations as much
as I enjoy crafting them.

I use sterling silver, 14K gold filled, and copper wire in my creations. 14k gold filled
wire jewelry is a lifetime investment. Gold filled wire is not plated. It is solid 14K gold
that is adhered to jeweler's brass,  a professional jewelry wire. There is 100 times
more gold in gold filled than in gold plate wire. The cost of my gold filled wire
fluctuates with the daily gold market on the stock exchange. 14K gold filled wire will
not tarnish, crack, chip, or peel. 14K gold filled wire matches your solid 14K gold
jewelry perfectly because that is exactly what you are looking at; 14K gold.

I have been selling my jewelry at arts and crafts shows around the Sacramento area. It has been so much fun being able to
let the creative side of me have full rein. Check out my Shows page for upcoming events.

My jewelry is on display in two galleries:
Artists' Collaborative Gallery located at 129 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
Studio Artists Gallery located at 1021 Lincoln Avenue, Studio C, Woodland, CA 95695

I have been teaching my wire craft at the Piece of Mind Bead and Jewelry Studio in Sacramento, as well as the Studio Artists
Gallery in Woodland. I have always enjoyed teaching and find it very satisfying to share my knowledge with students. More
information can be found on my Classes page regarding the classes I teach. I offer written tutorials on my tutorials page. My
totem tutorial was published in the November 2008 Step by Step Wire Magazine.

I have added jewelry supply and tools to my site which provides a source for wire, findings, tools, and stones.

I am a proud juried member, as well as a charter member, of the International Guild of Wire Jewelry Artists.

In my spare time I love to garden and tend to my pets. I have a boxer named Baxter that is five years old. I tend to my two
ponds, one for my 20 some odd goldfish and a larger one for my 30 some odd koi. The ponds are the inspiration for my
business name of Wired Dragonfly. I have many dragonflies that visit and multiply in my ponds. I especially enjoy the large
red dragonflies like the one pictured at the top of this page.
